Mark Cummins, CPA
Owner & Founder
Mark Cummins CPA is the Owner of BackTaxesUSA and has over 25 years’ experience in the accounting, tax, finance, and systems areas. Prior to starting BackTaxesUSA, Mr. Cummins managed a full-service accounting, tax, and auditing practice for over 15 years, handling simple individual returns to complex corporate tax returns.
Originally a Big 4 CPA at Ernst & Young, Mr. Cummins has held corporate positions as a Corporate Controller, CFO, and Chief Information Officer for both public and private companies. He has worked for a diverse group of companies including Zenith Insurance, Fremont Insurance, Countrywide, and Paramount Pictures.
He holds a B.S. in Accounting and Information Systems from Cal State Northridge. Mr. Cummins started BackTaxesUSA specifically to help individuals get caught up on back taxes and get in good standing with the IRS.
Sam Cummins
Operations
Sam came on board to help in all phases of the business including marketing, process flow, systems, client relations, and overall management. Sam helps to ensure clients get assigned to the right tax preparer, IRS transcripts are pulled, and ultimately that we are able to efficiently handle the workload to get your taxes filed on time.

If you’ve lost your tax documents — no problem. We pull your IRS transcripts and file your taxes based on those records. Then we help you work out a payment plan with the IRS if you owe taxes.
